What do these four things have in common?
Carol Bryant sees it, hears it, researches, it, and writes about it.
Blogging, tweeting, writing, investigating, relating and emulating… Carol does it and strangely, doesn’t feel violated.
During her youth, when Carol and her friends would play Candy Land, Operation, Atari, and later Trivial Pursuit, she fondly remembers writing about the experiences in her diary. “I’d write up catchy, snappy descriptions for the back of the box that would effectively sell these games to consumers.” Realizing corporations weren’t pounding down the door seeking a 13-year-old slogan and jingle writer, Carol set her sights on a career in writing and hasn’t looked back since.
On a path well traveled, Carol is a diverse, published writer/editor, accustomed to working autonomously while delivering a strong client service ethic in a deadline-intensive environment. Tenacity being the mainstay of her success, Carol shines where it counts: in print and online, reaching clients, selling magazines, generating interest, and writing effective programs and ad copy.
As the Social Media and Public Relations Director for FIDO Friendly magazine and writer/editor for one of the nation’s largest online learning institutions, managing multiple priorities with skilled confidence is a mainstay for Carol. As the author of numerous feature articles and original educational content, diversity is a well-managed craft. Dogs to digital, canines to career certification, Carol’s writing has produced training and advancement programs for usage by thousands of students in an online, e-learning capacity.
As an adult, she earned three degrees, an A.A. and A.S. in Education and Business Management, and her proudest moment, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. in English from Misericordia University in Dallas, Pennsylvania.
The proud recipient of the esteemed Writer's Weekly Flash Fiction contest in 2009, Carol is also passionate about short stories and fiction. The Showtime Network named Carol their Fan Fiction Screenwriting contest winner, where she placed first over thousands of contestants nationwide. Completing her first novel, which she dubs 'contemporary adult fiction with a twist,' the publication world has a unique voice on the horizon.
Carol is full of “C’s, with passions for cocker spaniels, creative writing, comedy, Clay Aiken music, consistently meeting deadlines, and caring about the people whose lives she touches with her writing. In her spare time, she is often found engrossed in a novel, rescuing a four-legged friend in need, and diversifying her shoe collection.
